Faux Plaster Effects, Polished Plaster, Moroccan Plaster

There is nothing more pleasing to the eye than the look of antiqued and polished plaster finishes. They range from waxed, polished, and gleaming to soft, powdery, and faded.

Through our faux plaster effects we can emulate the rough plasterwork walls of country cottages; create the illusion of polished plaster; and achieve the look of antique Italianate lime stucco or Venetian plasters sparkling with marble dust.

Also available is the rugged look of brushed and trowelled plaster, metallic plaster, distressed plaster, and gilded plaster. Our range of faux plaster effects includes the look of Morrocan plaster (tadelakt). This is a smooth, hard finish traditionally used in hammams (Turkish baths) that can be honed to a natural glossy sheen with wax.
