Marbling, faux marble or marbelizing is a decorative paint effect that emulates the look of real marble.
In addition to marbling, we offer a range of decorative work for period properties, including wood graining, stipple and wipe, traditional colour glazes and gilding. These techniques can be used to restore decorative plasterwork and to create a period look for new or replacement mouldings and architectural features. They are also used to refurbish panelling, casements, friezes, cornices, ceiling roses, pediments, pilasters and columns.
Our range of paint faux paint effects includes antique patinas; bronze, verdigris and other metallic paint effects; and faux plaster, stone, fabric, etc.
We have worked extensively in Georgian, Victorian, Arts & Crafts, and Art Deco interiors.
