Heritage Decoration London, UK

Nicola Thwaites Specialist Decorating, London, has nearly three decades of experience in heritage decoration and the enhancement of period interiors.

Traditional paint effects used in heritage decoration include wood graining, marbling, decorative painting, painted plaster, gilding, stipple and wipe, colour wash, fresco and stone blocking. We also advise on matching-in services.

We have worked on  historical building restoration ranging from a Jacobean manor to Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Arts & Crafts and Art Deco interiors.

A BIID Industry Partner, we work with interior designers, architects and private clients. We are based in London and Sussex and work regionally and in Europe.

Heritage projects include wood graining for King’s Observatory, Kew, and Heritage Lottery Fund restoration for Watts Gallery.
